The College of Engineering (CoE) was established in August, 1972. The College is currently comprised of four departments (Chemical Engineering, Materials Science and Engineering, Power Mechanical Engineering, and Industrial Engineering and Engineering Management) and one graduate institute (NanoEngineering and MicroSystems; NEMS.) All departments confer master and doctor degrees. In addition, the Program of Bioengineering and the Program of Molecular Engineering were established in 2006 and 2007 respectively. Both Programs confer master degree.
Besides the departments and the institute stated above, the following cross-disciplinary programs are also under the auspices of the CoE:
