    Abstract: The purpose of the study was to find a better information design of the SPDS (safety parameter display system) in a nuclear power plant control room so that the efficiency and safety of the system can be improved. An experiment was conducted by manipulating the independent variables, depth, task load, and the arrangement of parameters. The dependent variables included the response time of the subjects and the number of errors. The results showed that both depth and task load had significant effects on the response time
