Abstract: In recent years, entrepreneurship study has become an important issue in the academia. Not only have a number of leading journals made special issue on this topic but also the specific journals focusing on this field have consistently been rated high in the assessment. In contrast to the trend, local scholars are less active in the entrepreneurship research and remain substantially isolated from the international community. Therefore, this paper aims to review and recategorize the literatures in the filed of entrepreneurship, including some studies related to family business in order to introduce the existing wisdom and future avenues of entrepreneurship study to the domestic organization and strategy researchers.
